Image Manipulation: IMAGE_Ctrl operates using advanced technical skills combined with sophisticated imaging hardware and software to achieve user-specific photographic alterations. Furthermore, IMAGE_Ctrl can effectively remove or repair any unwanted discrepancies (including dust, film scratches and noise) to create a flawless image.
Fractal-Based Interpolation: IMAGE_Ctrl employs state-of-the-art fractal-based interpolation algorithms for all post-production enlargement requirements. This method of interpolation far exceeds the quality of standard Bicubic-Smoother enlargements, while maintaining all original image details via visually non-destructive procedures.
Burning & Dodging Enhancement: IMAGE_Ctrl can greatly improve the overall aesthetic of a photograph through selective spot contrasting. The application of burning and dodging techniques enhances the visibility and appeal of image details.
Color & Contrast Balancing: IMAGE_Ctrl's screens are frequently calibrated using a colorimeter. A carefully measured canvas allows the trained eye to fine-tune image curves and global contrast as well as make precise adjustments for all shadow, mid-tone, and highlight tonal values.
Acutance & Granularity: IMAGE_Ctrl will achieve optimal visual perception of your work by regulating the edge contrast and image grain of the photograph in relation to the size and nature of the desired result.
Color Management & Printing: In addition to IMAGE_Ctrl's post-production imaging services, professional clients will have the option to delegate IMAGE_Ctrl to direct and accomplish any required print production. Please note: IMAGE_Ctrl's Color Management & Printing service consists of an additional cost-per-unit/size price.
Film Scanning: In addition to IMAGE_Ctrl's post-production imaging services, professional clients will have the option to delegate IMAGE_Ctrl to effectively manage precision scanning and the subsequent high-end digital conversion of 35 mm, 60 mm medium format, and 4" x 5" large format film. Please note: IMAGE_Ctrl's Film Scanning service consists of an additional cost-per-unit/size price.

About The Proprietor: Since 1997, Geoffrey Mattie has been employing industry-standard applications for the production of both pixel-based and vector-based images. In 2005, he received his BFA in conceptual art photography from Concordia University where he also acquired specialized digital photographic imaging and print production training and expertise. IMAGE_Ctrl is a sole-proprietorship owned and operated by Geoffrey Mattie.
